Congratulations for registering to attend the 2nd Annual Speak Your Truth conference on Friday & Saturday, October 9 & 10, 2015..
I look forward to having you join our sisterhood. To make sure you get the most out of this conference, here are some logistics that will help you plan your weekend with us.

We highly recommend attending both days to maximize your experience of the conference. There are special surprises for you and exercises on Day 1 that will be carried forward to the end of Day 2 with a closing ceremony you will not want to miss!

Event Location:
The Speak Your Truth, A Women’s Empowerment Conference is being held at the beautiful Embassy Suites by the San Francisco Airport.

Each hotel room booked includes a complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast, and drinks and snacks at the evening reception.

We recommend staying at the hotel, even if you are coming from within the Bay Area. This will give you the opportunity to network with others in the evening, and get a relaxing night sleep before each day of the event.

Room Shares
Several people have asked about finding someone to share a hotel room with. We recommend that you post your request on our Speak Your Truth Facebook Group Page​.

Transportation to the Event:
If you will be flying to the event, we highly recommend you make your airline reservations soon. The best airport to arrive at is the San Francisco International Airport (SFO) – 3 miles to hotel.

Free Shuttle:
The Embassy Hotel has a free shuttle to/from the SF Airport as well as one that can take you to downtown San Francisco.

Parking at the Event:
On-site self parking at the hotel is available for conference attendees at the reduced price of $5.

Internet Access:
There is complimentary access in the hotel lobby.

Please be sure to arrive early enough to get checked in and get a good seat as well as visit with our Showcase Exhibitors in the Healing Gallery. Allow yourself plenty of time to find parking, get coffee, and have breakfast before registration.

Event Schedule:
Doors open at 8:00 am to visit with our Showcase Exhibitors in the Healing Gallery. Conference start promptly at 9:00 am each day and ends approximately at 6:00 pm

Please note that the duration of each day is subject to change based on what would serve participants best as each day unfolds.

What to Bring:
A bandanna or small scarf – needed for experiential exercise (Important)
A pillow or seat cushion
A pen and notebook or journal
A camera to capture your new found sisters
A reusable, closeable water bottle
Snacks to eat between lunch breaks that are easy to pack and eat, such as granola bars.

What to Wear:
Please dress comfortably in whatever is going to make your feel beautiful and relaxed. This is NOT a business event so business attire is NOT needed or recommended. We want you to wear something that is authentically you! We will be doing movement and dancing so something that is comfy and free flowing will serve you best.

Dress in layers for comfort and fluctuating room temperatures. It is advised you bring a sweater, jacket, or scarf with you regardless of the outside weather.

In consideration of participants with allergies, we ask that you not use any fragrances such as perfume, essential oils or aromatherapy.

Meals are on your own. There is a restaurant on site that will be reserved for our event attendees. We will have adequate breaks so you can go grab a snack, Starbucks coffee and tea at the hotel cafe.
